Aziderm is used for the treatment of mild to moderate acne, in both comedonal acne and inflammatory acne. The active ingredient present in the Aziderm is Azelaicacid. This medication is used over the skin. It decreases the production of keratin that is present in the body and promotes the growth of acne. This medication is also used for the treatment of Rosacea, due to its capability to decrease inflammation. It clears the bumps and swelling caused by Rosacea. This medication belongs to a class of Dicarboxylic acids. It works by prohibiting the production of proteins necessary for the bacteria to survive.

What are the contraindications of Aziderm?

  • Do not use this medication if you are allergic to any ingredient in Aziderm.
  • Do not use if you have a history of asthma or cold sores.
  • Do not use if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances.
  • Do not use this medication if your liver and kidney are not in proper condition.

Wash your hand and affected area before application of this medication. Make a thin film on the affected area by gently rubbing the medication. Do not cover the area after applying this medication.
